Perspective and Topographic Renderings

In 2011 I received my B.S. in Urban Design from the University of Oregon.

I have a love of cities, town centers, and public spaces. To me, these spaces are like symphonies where architectural and ecological elements work in concert to create their own harmonies and vibrations. I take great pleasure in both imagining previously-non-existent spaces and in realistically depicting existing ones.

I love cities. Which means I love to draw cities. From all angles and perspectives. My renderings of cities range from intimate sketches of urban neighborhoods to sweeping, detailed scenes of skylines, public spaces, and entire communities.

I have also had the honor of participating in design competitions and have won an award for my vision of a modern urban space.

Below: Entry for the Westwood Downtown Redevelopment competition to design a transit-oriented village in an existing Boston suburb. Taking cues from Boston’s rich architectural history, my design blends classic urban spaces with natural vistas and parkland, offering the existing car-oriented suburb of Westwood a dynamic and walkable urban focal point.

Below: Award-winning entry for the Changing the Face of Orange County Ideas and Design competition, a competition for the vision of Orange County development in the 21st century. My design consists of a central town and smaller villages surrounded by open space in the county’s only remaining undeveloped area. The town features a series of unique public spaces around which mixed-use buildings of mid-level density combine to create a walkable, transit-oriented community that fosters public interaction, recreation, and small business development. Received the Award of Excellence.
